Exclusive: Trump Ally Lindsey Graham Says He'll 'Lock Him Up' If Trump Runs and Wins Again

Graham, a staunch Trump ally, said in an interview with CNN's Jake Tapper that he would support prosecuting Trump if the former president runs and wins again in 2024.
"I'll say this: If he runs again and wins, I'll support prosecuting him," Graham said in the interview, which aired Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union."
Graham's comments come as Trump faces mounting legal challenges, including a criminal investigation into his efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election in Georgia and a civil lawsuit filed by the New York Attorney General alleging that he defrauded donors to his charitable foundation.
Graham's shift in tone toward Trump is a significant development, as he has been one of Trump's most steadfast supporters in the Republican Party. Graham's comments suggest that even some of Trump's closest allies are beginning to sour on him as his legal troubles mount.
In the interview, Graham also said that he believes Trump will run for president again in 2024. "He's going to run again," Graham said. "I don't know if he's going to win, but he's going to run."
