Effective from December 1, 2023, citizens of these countries holding ordinary passports will be allowed to enter China for a period of up to 15 days without the need for a visa. The visa-free entry is valid for stays related to tourism, business, and cultural exchanges.

For citizens of Italy, the visa-free policy will be implemented from December 1, 2023, and will expire on November 30, 2024. This specific timeframe is intended to enhance bilateral cooperation and cultural exchanges between China and Italy.

The visa-free policy for the other five countries (France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, and Malaysia) will be implemented for a trial period of one year.
